Pieralisi delivers a skid for hopper dredger

Pieralisi Benelux has build for IHC Beaver dredgers a skid for their new trailing suction hopper dredger for the Panama Canal Authority. This dredger is intended to replace the current 45 years old existing piston, he continually keeps the channel depth and features most modern techniques, including a Pieralisi decanter centrifuge. The skid is equipped with a sludge reception tank, feeding pump, a baby 1 Pieralisi decanter centrifuge, polymer preparation and dosing system, effluent and sediment tanks. Everything is driven by the Pieralisi control. On the ship there are approximately 15 crew and installation, whether the generated sludge (kitchen, shower and toilet water) process so that no more channel discharges need to be. Installation during construction fully ship integrated and therefore cannot be removed. It is clear that there is Pieralisi decanter also chosen for its compact design, performance and reliability.
